Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Manhattan Environmental Compliance ("we", "us") collects through manhattancompliance.com, why, and who it is shared with. We do not sell your information.

Information we collect

Business and contact details you give us when you enroll: business name, service address, phone numbers, contact names and email addresses.
Service details: interceptor type and location, kitchen equipment, opening hours, preferred service window, how the crew gets in, and notes for the crew. A lockbox or door code you give us is stored encrypted and seen only by our office, to give your service provider access.
Account details: your email address and password. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, never as readable text.
Visit records: dates, before-and-after photos, summaries and any problems the contractor reports.
Billing records: your subscription status and the amount, date and status of each invoice. Card and wallet details are entered into Stripe's secure fields and go straight to Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
Contractors who use the Technician Portal: name, company, email address and the jobs they complete.
Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses. We use IP addresses briefly to limit repeated sign-in attempts.

How we use it

To schedule and perform your service visits and keep your service records.
To bill your subscription and send receipts and payment notices.
To contact you about your account and your visits.
To keep the site and your account secure.

Who we share it with

The contractor assigned to your visit sees only what they need for the job: your business name, service address, interceptor details, service window, access instructions and on-site contact. They never see your billing information.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. On payment pages, Stripe sets its own cookies to prevent fraud.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, sign-in attempts are rate limited, and the office account is protected by two-factor authentication.

How long we keep it

Pending approval We keep your information while your account is active. After you cancel, we keep service and billing records for 7 years for tax and business records, and delete or anonymize the rest within 90 days of a request.

Your choices

You can view and update your details in your account. To get a copy of your information, correct it or ask us to delete it, email manhattancompliance1@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Our Terms of Service cover the service itself.
